Ever since Eats, Shoots & Leaves by Lynne Truss was published, I’ve felt a little less alone in my grammar policing. I was so glad to see there are others like me who feel compelled to cross out the misplaced apostrophe.
Then, today I came across these great grammar links:
- The 25 Funniest Analogies, supposedly written by high school students
- Grocer’s Apostrophe, a flickr group for photos of misplaced apostrophes
- “Quotation Mark” Abuse, a flickr group for photos of unnecessary quotes
Do I have reason to celebrate? Is grammar coming back into style?
